Apple has started inviting select media to a product launch in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 28, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. In a post on X, Gurman called it an "all-day product launch experience" for touchscreen MacBooks, a new iPad mini, and Macs with M6 chips, MacRumors reports.

Gurman had earlier said the products would arrive "on or around" Tuesday, October 27 with an online video. The new post pins the hands-on to the 28th but doesn't say whether the announcements land that day or before it.

The headliners are expected to be redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with OLED touchscreens, a Dynamic Island, and much lighter builds. They're reportedly keeping the MacBook Pro name rather than becoming a "MacBook Ultra." M6 updates to the regular 14-inch MacBook Pro and the iMac are also expected, along with an OLED iPad mini that moves its front camera to the landscape edge and gets new speakers.
