Apple has posted service pricing for HomeView, and fixing one without AppleCare costs $279. The display itself sells for $299.
That $279 applies to both versions, the standard HomeView on its speaker base and the wall-mounted model, and it's listed under a single catch-all category Apple calls "Other damage." There's no separate price for a cracked screen or a dead speaker, which 9to5Mac reads as a sign Apple will swap the whole unit instead of repairing parts. Apple hasn't said either way.
With AppleCare, accidental damage costs $39 per incident on either model, and Apple's support page says the plan covers unlimited repairs for drops and spills.
HomeView is up for pre-order now and ships November 13. For something that's going to live on a kitchen counter, a $20 gap between a repair and a new unit is a decent argument for AppleCare.
