Google has officially teased the Fitbit Edge, its first traditional band-style fitness tracker since the Charge 6 in 2023. The company posted the teaser on X and Instagram with the tagline "Get an Edge on your health" and the date 10.12.26, confirming an October 12 reveal.

Leaks paint the picture of a midrange comeback: a 1.34-inch AMOLED display, seven-day battery life (two days with the always-on display enabled), ECG, and a price around $180. That would slot it between the $99 Fitbit Air and the flagship Pixel Watch 5.

Google's fitness-band lineup has been quiet for three years, and the Edge looks like a bid to reclaim the dedicated-tracker lane while the Pixel Watch handles the smartwatch crowd.
