Apple's first foldable iPhone is now up for pre-order. The iPhone Duo went live at 5 a.m. PT (8 a.m. ET) on Apple's online store and in the Apple Store app, after the store spent the early morning behind a holding page. MacRumors says anyone who doesn't see the order button yet should refresh both the site and the app.

Demand showed up fast. Early buyers who got in right at launch will get their phones on Friday, October 23, but by 5:20 a.m. PT some U.S. configurations were already showing delivery estimates into late January, according to MacRumors. Earlier reports pointed to limited supply because of production issues.

The Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB and comes in Star White and Night Sky. It has a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display, measures 5.2mm thick when open, and uses Touch ID instead of Face ID. The rear camera has two lenses and no telephoto.

Apple is also pushing ways to spread out the cost. Its Apple Upgrade lease program, run by Klarna, starts at $57.99 a month over 24 months, and Apple says trading in an iPhone 13 or newer is worth $175 to $885 off. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile are taking pre-orders too. MacRumors notes some out-of-warranty Duo repairs run as high as $1,499, so AppleCare+ is worth a look.
